To the east of the point that bears its name, Mousterlin<\/strong>. Until the beginning of the XX\u1d49 century, a dune cordon separated the Fouesnant marsh from the sea. The dyking concession granted to an industrialist in 1926 resulted in the creation of a polder covering some 120 hectares. Although the aim was to increase the agricultural surface area of the commune of Fouesnant, seawater continues to enter, creating a lagoon where both marine and freshwater fish come to reproduce. The Mousterlin polder <\/strong>has been owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral since 1982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
