Cap Coz is a spit of land on Brittany’s Baie de la For\u00eat<\/strong>. It’s a small sandy beach<\/strong> that ends on a tiny rocky island. Cap Coz is located 16 minutes from our 4-star campsite<\/a> and is a rare spot in terms of biodiversity. It’s teeming with birds<\/strong> of all species, who come to land on the islet for a little peace and food before flying off to other destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Cap Coz is a family beach<\/strong> where you can enjoy sweet family moments. The beach is supervised throughout the summer, non-smoking, accessible to all, including people with reduced mobility, and has been awarded the Blue Flag label.A beach where nature is omnipresent<\/strong> and where you can juggle fun and serenity with ease to make the most of your vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The history of Cap Coz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Originally, Cap Coz served as a link between land and rock<\/strong>, where maritime customs were based. Today’s Cap Coz probably exists thanks to a deposit of sand formed either by water or wind, which would have allowed the winding, narrow path to the islet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former fishermen’s huts of Cap Coz<\/strong> have over time become homes, restaurants and hotels, making this an unusual place, encircled by the coastline where tourists like to go to enjoy both the view and Cap Coz itself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
